Evidence-Based, Strategic Investment
New local revenue will replace unstable state, federal, and private dollars with stable funding that is guided by data and community driven investment priorities and clear and transparent oversight.
Cost-Effective Early Interventions
Investing in prevention and early intervention saves money, reduces crises, and builds long-term stability for families and communities.
Sustainable Investments in our Human Infrastructure
Building Comprehensive, Long-Term Solutions to Promote Health & Wellbeing

When the cost of living rises faster than wages, families pay the price. In Franklin County, too many neighbors are struggling to meet their most basic needs. Food insecurity affects 13.5% of residents. Nearly 1-in-4 face depression. Housing insecurity reaches almost 40% of households, and homelessness has risen more than 7% in a single year. These numbers aren’t just statistics. They reflect the daily hardships of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones. At the same time, federal funding cuts threaten more than $1.5 billion in funding that supports central Ohio’s continuums of care each year. Without swift, local action, vital services will vanish, and families will be left with even fewer supports. That’s why Councilmember Melissa Green is leading an effort to secure permanent, reliable funding for what matters most: our people. By investing in strong starts for kids, safe homes for families, and health and dignity in every neighborhood, we’re doing more than just funding programs. We’re building stability and opportunity for today and tomorrow.
